I am a professional Engineer & Leader with 40 years of experience in Mining operations, technology & start-ups. I have a varied career history in areas as diverse as Engineering design and Asset Management, Project Management, Construction, Operations Leadership, Consultancy and Business Development.

 I have worked in and around the mining industry, across many disciplines, commodities and locations around the world. Recently, I have focussed on METS technology and innovation, having started my own small business and then held various executive positions with a technology start-up on its’ journey towards ASX IPO.

 My practical experiences are underpinned by formal qualifications - I hold Bachelor degrees in Electronics Engineering and Information Technology with post-grad studies in Master of Business Administration (with honours).

 I believe in continuous professional development as well as contribution back to industry, both of which are achieved through my active participation in the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), where I hold the grade of Fellow.

 My strength lies in being able to balance ‘out of the box thinking’ while at the same time bringing structure and discipline to that process. I have a natural inclination to push the boundaries and challenge traditional thinking – but also have a good grounding in the realities of daily business and sound financial decisions
